Devotional
Again, Queen Esther is another heroic individual in the Bible who exhibited great courage and conquered her fear. Queen Esther faced the daunting task of saving her people, the Jews, from extermination at the hands of the Persian king’s advisor, Haman. Esther risked her own life by approaching the king uninvited to plead for her people. Through prayer, fasting, and God’s guidance, she found the courage to carry out this dangerous mission and ultimately succeeded in averting the disaster.
