Devotional
Yet again, beloved, another individual who exhibited great courage and conquered his fear is Daniel. Daniel’s unwavering faith in God enabled him to defy King Nebuchadnezzar’s order to worship idols and instead continue to pray to God. This act of courage led to his being thrown into a den of lions, but God protected him, and he emerged unharmed.
Key Scripture
My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also, before you, O king, I have done no harm.Daniel 6:22 (NIV)
