Devotional
So, another factor that stunts and slows down our growth in life is ignorance. Too often, God presents to us moments of destiny to achieve great things and go higher in life, but we ignorantly abandoned the opportunity and remained in the shades. While we could tap into the moments of greatness, we’re so feeble, fearful and intimidated to. But we can learn a lesson or two from the life of a man called Gideon in Judges chapter 6.
Key Scripture
And the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon and said, “The LORD is with you, O mighty man of valor.Judges 6:12 BSB
Refreshing for the Day
At that time, Gideon was a strong man; a man gifted with crafts of fighting, with greatness lurking inside of him. But he was ignorantly wasting at the winepress. Until the Angel of the Lord visited him, and called out to him, “O mighty man of valor, the Lord is with you”. At first Gideon didn’t accept the name, he objected and said, “I can’t lead the army, I come from the poorest family”. But God knew his potentials, He knew Gideon had greatness in him. Just like Gideon, some of us are under the shade of fear, ignorance, and intimidation. Had the Angel not come to Gideon and told him who he was, we wouldn’t be talking about him today.
So, beloved, let this matter be your own call for awakening. God is saying to you, “You are a mighty man of valor”, you are destined to leave a mark on your generation. Enough of hiding under the shades in ignorance. Take the bold step of faith, shove away negativity, and begin to possess your possessions. Stay Refreshed!

You may not have eternity to manifest the greatness in you, seize the moment now and make it happen.
