Consequently, another sure way we can surrender our self-reliance and place our hope in God is to yield control of our lives to God (Rom 6:13). Our cry for salvation from ourselves requires us to relinquish control and trust in God’s guidance. It is an acknowledgment that our own efforts and willpower are insufficient to overcome the deep-seated struggles within us. As we surrender our lives to God, we invite Him to work in us and through us, aligning our desires with His perfect plan.

Gracious Lord, I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging my weaknesses. Save me from the destructive patterns and tendencies that hinder my spiritual growth. I yield to Your will, knowing that Your ways are higher, and Your plans are perfect., in Jesus’ name, Amen!
