Devotional
It’s one thing to be an effective Christian and it’s another to understand God’s principles and the heights or dimensions He operates. It’s then you’d recognize that everything God does has a purpose for it and serves His plan. When God created you, He made available in store everything you’d need to lead a great life, and He would use anything to prepare you to have access to them.
You may be trusting God for something; you have prayed and have done everything, but answer isn’t coming. You may be asking, “What is happening? Why this delay?” But God has a purpose for it—He knows what He’s doing.
Key Scripture
The LORD has made everything for his own purposes,Proverbs 16:4 NLT
Refreshing for the Day
If what you’re praying about isn’t changing, then God may be using that situation to change you.
You don’t have to fight what is not working in your life, you don’t complain that the right person has not come. The reason it’s taking too long is because what God has in store is bigger than what you can imagine– it’s serving a purpose. God is preparing you to match your world, He’s developing your spiritual muscles, and strengthening your faith.
Beloved, when you understand that God uses things we don’t like to get us prepared, then you don’t complain when things don’t go your way. So, in every situation, give thanks to the Lord. Stay Lifted!
