Devotional

Every great thing that happens in a person’s life begins with a proper understanding of God’s plan for his life. But sometimes we think we know and follow God’s plan for our life, while in real a sense we don’t. So, it’s important we know if we are actually following God’s plan or our own plan. But before then, let us see what it takes and what it looks like following God’s plan.

Key Scripture

The plan of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.
Psalm 33:11 NASB

Refreshing for the Day

Beloved, I must first of all say that you can’t follow the plan of God you don’t know. For the secret things of life belong to God, and the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever (Deut 29:29). Both the secret things of life and the things revealed belong to God. Therefore, you must know God, have a great relationship with Him before you can access anything from Him.

Following God’s plan eliminates struggle. Yes, it’s true, but it may not be so easy. Sometimes, it may seem unpleasant, but so rewarding. In Matthew 26, when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane contemplating His imminent crucifixion, He asked if there was another way He could accomplish His mission, but He realized there was no other way, then He said to the Father, “Not My will, but Thine be done.” And our salvation today is the product of the uncelebrated plan of God for Jesus. We will continue tomorrow, but till then, stay refreshed!

Note This

There’s nothing so rewarding than ensuing God’s plan for our life.

Responsibility

God loves you and wants the best for you. So, follow His plan for your life, and you will never regret it.

O LORD, give me the grace to follow your plan for my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
