When God Removes Your Backup Plan (7)

When You Discover God Was the Plan All Along
Devotional
At the beginning of the journey, losing your backup plan felt painful. The doors closed. The options disappeared. The familiar supports were removed. You questioned God. You wondered why He would allow everything you depended on to be stripped away. But now, looking back, you begin to see what God was doing. The backup plan was never the destination. The backup plan was never the source. The backup plan was never the answer. God was. What you thought was loss was actually invitation. An invitation to know God as Provider. An invitation to know God as Sustainer. An invitation to know God as Father.
Scripture Reading
Genesis 22:13–14 — Jehovah Jireh revealed Psalm 73:25–26 — Whom have I in heaven but You? Philippians 4:19 — God supplies every need
Refreshing for the Day
Abraham discovered this on Mount Moriah. When Isaac was laid on the altar and every human solution was gone, God revealed Himself as Jehovah Jireh—The Lord Who Provides. God often removes what we trust in so that He can reveal who He is. The greatest lesson of the journey is not that God gave you another plan. It is that God Himself became the plan. And when you discover that, fear loses its grip, anxiety begins to fade, and faith finds its resting place. Because if you have God, you have everything you truly need. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
🔥 God removes the backup plan when He wants you to discover that He was the plan all along.
Responsibility
Stop looking back at what was removed and start thanking God for what He has revealed about Himself through the process.
Pause in His presence

Father, thank You for every season that taught me to depend on You. Thank You for being my Provider, my Sustainer, my Refuge, and my Strength. Help me to trust You completely and find my security in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
