Beloved, I want to share with you today about an all-important subject “What shall it profit a man?” You see, in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often find ourselves pursuing various goals and ambitions. We strive for success, accumulate wealth, and seek recognition. But in the midst of these pursuits, we must pause and reflect on this timeless question that carries profound spiritual significance: “What shall it profit a man?” Our foundation for reflection comes from the Gospel of Mark, chapter 8, verse 36, Jesus asked,

Refreshing for the Day
So, we shall be reflecting on few factors, but first, let’s reflect on “the allure of worldly success.” The world often entices us with the promise of wealth, power, pleasure, and recognition. We labor tirelessly to climb the ladder of success, amass material possessions, and the approval and admiration of others. We may become so absorbed in these pursuits that we lose sight of our spiritual well-being. Yet, Jesus asks us to pause and ponder the worth of these pursuits. “For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?” We shall continue tomorrow, but till then, Stay Refreshed!
Note This
In the pursuit of worldly gain, let us not forget the priceless treasure within us—our soul. For gaining the world means little if we lose the eternal essence of our being.

So, dearly beloved, let us seek to invest in what truly matters, and we’ll discover the wealth that never fades.

Oh GOD, as we pause in reflection, teach us, that in our pursuit of worldly gains, we do not lose sight of the eternal treasures within us, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
