Devotional
Beloved, the central message of this matter is not just only to examine your mind, and watch over your thoughts, but also to proofer what you must do to improve on how you see yourself. As it was rightly pointed, the reason some people don’t get along with other people is they don’t get along with themselves. Yes, this is true. If you don’t like yourself, you’re not going to like others. If you don’t feel good about yourself, you will never see good in anything other people do. You’ll be critical and would always find fault with them. So, you see, we need to rightfully discern on what is playing in our mind.
Key Scripture
In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.Phil 4:8 GNT
Refreshing for the Day
But it’s time we consciously take possession of what plays in our mind. We don’t have to leave it to chance. So, we take periodic inventory of our thought, filter out unwanted and decayed thoughts, delete them and quit dwelling on them. Hence note that, at any point in your life, there is something good God is saying about you. Collate them, take one step further, put them on a new recording and let them play. I tell you; you’ll be amazed at how your life will step further, the freshness you’ll feel on the inside, and the incredible awe of relief. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
Don’t allow what people say or do disrupt the flow of the love of God in your life. Decide to keep and always maintain a positive thought and a healthy self image.
Responsibility
Again, do not allow what is playing in your mind to deprive you of your God’s given destiny. Prayerfully re-examine your mind and thoughts.
Pause in His presence
Prayer
O LORD, give me the grace to always keep and maintain a positive thought and a healthy self image, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
Carry this with you
Prophetic Word
May God cleanse your mind and wipe away every unwanted thought and create in you a healthy self image, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
