Topic

Until Christ Be Formed in You

Focus

Christ, the Ultimate Goal

Message

Spiritual maturity is not about doing more—it’s about becoming more like Christ. This series is a journey from self to surrender, from outer appearance to inner transformation. It’s about allowing the Holy Spirit to shape our hearts, refine our character, and form the image of Christ in every part of our lives. Whether you’re in the fire of refinement or the quiet process of pruning, God is working to form Christ in you—until your life reflects His.

Devotional

Paul wasn’t just focused on building churches—he was focused on building Christ within people. His desire wasn’t just that believers behave better or attend more services. His longing was formation—that the life, love, nature, and character of Jesus would take root and grow in each heart. To be Christian is not just to follow Christ—it is to become like Him. But formation doesn’t happen in a moment. It is a journey. A process. A molding of the soul. Just like a potter shapes clay on the wheel, God is forming something holy, beautiful, and eternal within you.

Scripture Reading

Romans 8:29 – “For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son…” 2 Corinthians 3:18 – “…we are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory…”

Refreshing for the Day

This formation happens in quiet places. In trials. In brokenness. In worship. In surrender. And day by day, Christ is being formed in us—not just to bless us, but so we can carry His heart to the world. So, beloved, are you willing to let Him form you? Ask yourself today: Am I allowing God to shape me, or am I resisting the process?

Note This

Salvation happens in a moment. Transformation takes a lifetime.

Responsibility

Spend 10 minutes in silence today asking the Holy Spirit to reveal areas of your heart that still look like you more than Him.

Pause in His presence

Prayer

Father, I don’t just want to follow You—I want to look like You. Form Jesus in me. Shape my thoughts, my desires, and my actions to reflect His. I yield to the process, even when it’s uncomfortable. Make me a true reflection of Your Son. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Declaration:

Christ is being formed in me. I am not who I used to be. I am becoming who He has called me to be! Alleluia!

Bible Texts

Galatians 4:19, Romans 8:29, 2 Cor. 3:18
