Devotional
So, beloved, God’s timing is never random. Every moment is a divine appointment where God orchestrates events for our benefit. Yes, it’s true and here are few examples from the Scripture. In Genesis 15:5-6; 21:1-3, Abraham and Sarah waited for many years for the promised son, Isaac. When they tried to take matters into their own hands, it led to complications. However, when they trusted God’s timing and promises, Isaac was born, fulfilling God’s plan.
Key Scripture
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)
Refreshing for the Day
Again, in Genesis 37-50, Joseph endured years of hardship, including betrayal by his brothers and imprisonment, before his dream was realized. In the end, he played a crucial role in saving his family and many others during a famine. His story demonstrates that even in the darkest times, God is working behind the scenes for our benefit. The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years before entering the Promised Land. Although their journey was long and challenging, God used this time to refine and shape them, preparing them for the blessings ahead. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
Even in the darkest times of our lives, God is busy working behind the scenes for our benefit.
