They waited. They prayed. They tarried. And then… the heavens responded. Suddenly, a sound like a mighty rushing wind filled the room, and tongues of fire rested on each one of them. The Holy Spirit came—not just to visit, but to indwell, empower, and commission. This is what happens when we wait until the power falls: Heaven invades earth. Ordinary people become bold witnesses. Fear is replaced with fire. The Upper Room becomes a launching pad for global transformation.
