Revival starts when people wake up. This devotional is a prophetic call to shake off apathy and rise in fire.
Devotional
One of the deadliest enemies of revival is apathy—a silent, slow poison that numbs your hunger for God. Apathy makes you comfortable with dryness, routine, and spiritual dullness. You stop pressing in, stop expecting more, and start settling for “just enough.”
But when the sound of awakening comes, apathy must be shaken off like dust. God is calling His people to snap out of spiritual laziness, to remember their first love, and to reignite their passion. The Church must rise not just in attendance, but in fire, urgency, and desperation for more of God. A heart on fire cannot stay passive. A church on fire cannot stay silent.

Refreshing for the Day
Beloved, today, God is not asking for perfection—He’s asking for passion. Don’t ignore His knock. Open the door. Shake yourself. Stir your spirit. You were not made for lukewarm living—you were born to burn. So, ask the Holy Spirit today: “Where have I become passive? Where have I settled?” Then make a decision to pursue God intentionally—pray when you don’t feel like it, worship even when you’re dry, press even when it’s uncomfortable.

Apathy starves revival. Passion feeds it.
Responsibility
Break your spiritual routine today—do something fresh to stir hunger (extended prayer, spontaneous worship, scripture soaking).
Confess and renounce every trace of spiritual laziness.
Pause in His presence
Prayer
Lord, I shake off apathy today. Set my heart on fire again. Deliver me from every form of spiritual complacency. Restore my hunger, renew my desire, and awaken my soul to burn passionately for You again. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Prophetic Declaration
I am not lukewarm! I am burning with holy fire! Apathy has no place in me. My passion is rising, and my altar is alive. I will burn again! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
