Devotional
God is our shelter, a refuge when we are afraid. We live in a time and season when everything around us threatens and beats the drums of conflict. But it’s only our faith in God as our protector that would carry us through all the dangers and fears of life. The assurance that the Lord Himself watches over us, should be the picture of our trust and confidence—trading all our fears for faith in God, no matter how intense our fears could be.
Key Scripture
The Lord Himself watches over you. The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.Psalm 121:5 NLT
Refreshing for the Day
Our safety comes by trusting ourselves to God’s protection and pledging our daily devotion to Him.
Beloved, the awareness and realization that God not only is He all-powerful, He also watches over us, and nothing diverts or deters Him, expresses our assurance and hope in His protection. So, in Him we are safe. No matter what looms and lurks around our lives, we should never trust a lesser power than God Himself. Stay Lifted!
