Devotional
Beloved, do you know the best thing that would ever happen to any man in life? It’s not a heavy bank alert, possessions nor riches. But it’s the knowledge of Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2). Yes, you heard me right, the knowledge of Christ and Him crucified is the best thing that would ever happen to any man in life. But then one may argue and dispute this fact and wonder why too many people would receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and yet they don’t grow past this point. The answer to this and many more finds expression in this series, the key to living a great life in Christ Jesus. God says in Proverbs 8:17-19,
Key Scripture
I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me diligently find Me. Riches and honor are with Me, enduring wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold, and My yield than choice silver.Prov. 8:17-19 ESV
Refreshing for the Day
Yes, beloved, I tell you, it’s so wonderful to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and know we will spend eternal life with Him after here. However, the Lord also has so many great things planned for us while we are here on this earth! And one of the ways to activate those great things is having a genuine knowledge of Christ and Him crucified. Consciously growing and developing spiritual maturity by digging deep in the Word of God, studying, and dwelling on it daily, and applying it to our lives (Joshua 1:8). As we do this, and continue it, living a righteous life, then we will begin to experience the incredible peace, joy and fulfilment that only God can give. Stay Refreshed!
