It has been established that gratitude is the foundation for thanksgiving, and thanksgiving is a key to receiving answers to prayers. Today we will examine how to remain grateful in the face of life’s difficult moments. As believers, Scripture makes it clear in John 16:33, that in this world we will have tribulations. But Jesus also admonishes us in the same verse to be of good cheer. This means to maintain a grateful disposition towards life and remain thankful no matter the circumstance.

Refreshing for the Day
Our anchor Scripture buttresses the fact that God wills for us to be thankful at all times. To maintain an attitude of gratitude no matter the situation. When we live a life of gratitude and thanksgiving, we tell God that we trust in Him and that we know He is able to deliver us from whatever challenge we face. To remain grateful, we must change our focus. We must learn to focus on the things God has done for us and resist the urge to hyperfocus on the things we are still trusting Him for. Stay Refreshed.
