Devotional
So, beloved, when we place our hope in Christ, we are not placing our trust in something uncertain or fleeting. Instead, we are anchoring our souls to the solid rock of His love and His promises. We are declaring our confidence in His ability to sustain us through every trial and to lead us into a future filled with hope and purpose. Hence, let us join the Psalmist to pray thus,
Key Scripture
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.Psalm 62:5-8 (NIV)
