The Sound Before the Rain (4)
Focus
The Atmosphere Begins to Change
Devotional
Before the rain falls, the atmosphere changes. The wind shifts. The air feels different. Something begins to happen that cannot yet be fully explained, but it can be sensed. Spiritually, many believers experience seasons like this. Nothing has manifested yet. The breakthrough has not fully arrived. The promise has not completely appeared. Yet something feels different. Prayer becomes easier. Hope begins to rise again. Scripture comes alive. Faith grows stronger. A holy expectation begins to fill the heart. These are often signs that God is preparing to move.
Scripture Reading
1 Kings 18:45 — The sky grew black with clouds and wind Isaiah 43:19 — Behold, I am doing a new thing Romans 8:14 — Led by the Spirit of God
Refreshing for the Day
Many people miss these moments because they are looking only for visible results. But those who walk closely with God learn to recognize the atmosphere before the rain. Elijah recognized it. The cloud was still small, but the atmosphere was already changing. God often shifts the spiritual atmosphere before He shifts visible circumstances. Do not ignore what God is stirring within you. The change you feel in your spirit may be the first indication that heaven is already moving. God often changes the atmosphere before He changes the situation. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
🌬️ Before the rain becomes visible, the atmosphere begins to testify that it is coming.
