Message
The fire of revival is sustained only on the altar of surrender. Without the altar, there can be no lasting flame. The Altar represents the place of sacrifice, intimacy, and prayer—where flesh dies, and God’s glory lives. The Fire represents His presence, passion, and power—Heaven’s response to a yielded heart. 1 Kings 18:30–39 records that Elijah rebuilt the altar of the Lord that had been torn down, and when he prayed, fire fell. God’s fire always responds to a restored altar.
So, beloved, in this devotional series, we’ll explore what it means to rebuild and maintain your spiritual altar—to become a life fully yielded, consistently burning, and unashamedly set apart for God.
Devotional
The fire of God does not only purify—it empowers. Every great move of God in history began when the Holy Spirit came in fire and power upon yielded hearts. Fire without power is emotion; power without purity is danger. But when the altar is pure, the fire releases power that changes everything. Acts 2:3–4 records this moment: “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
The fire that fell at Pentecost turned fearful disciples into fearless witnesses. The same Peter who once denied Jesus stood and preached boldly, and thousands were saved. The Holy Spirit’s fire transforms weakness into boldness, timidity into testimony, and ordinary believers into carriers of divine power.

So, beloved, when God’s fire fills your life, it’s not just for personal renewal—it’s for kingdom impact. You become His vessel for healing, deliverance, and transformation in your generation. But that power can only rest on those who keep the altar of intimacy alive. The altar fuels the fire; the fire fuels your mission. The fire you carry is meant to empower you for impact. Stay Refreshed!
