Devotional
So, beloved, surrendering to God’s plan is not a passive submission; it is an active participation and involvement in God’s divine purpose. Imagine a dancer entrusting themselves to the choreographer’s guidance. The dance may involve twists, turns, and leaps that seem scary and intimidating, but each movement contributes to the beauty of the performance. Likewise, surrendering to God’s plan involves letting go of our preconceived notions and trusting God that every twist and turn we encounter in life is purposeful.
Key Scripture
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Refreshing for the Day
In our anchor Scripture above, God declares His intentions for us: plans for welfare, not for evil; plans to give us a future and a hope. Yes, what a comforting promise! But then, to embrace this promise requires a courageous act of surrender. It means releasing our grip on the pen that writes our story and allowing God to be the Author of our narrative. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
Surrendering involves wholehearted trust. It is an invitation to rely on God’s faithfulness, knowing that He who began a good work in us will bring it to completion.
Responsibility
So, let us ask God for the grace for a complete surrender to Him.
Pause in His presence

Carry this with you

And as we surrender to God, may we be hopeful and experience God’s promises in our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
