Devotional

The gains of standing on the shoulders of giants are numerous and cannot be over emphasized. When we stand on the shoulders of giants, we would not only see farther, but we also see further than others. There are certain expertise, know-hows and skills we would never learn about on our own, unless through a person who has adopted it, applied it and it is working for him.

Key Scripture

…Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.
2 Tim 2:2 NLT

Refreshing for the Day

So, it is said that, “no one knows better the road to success, except the one who has travelled through it before”. This is true. To such a person, he has a first-hand information about the road, he knows how to navigate through the dangerous pot holes that would endanger his journey. He knows where to stop, re-engage himself and move on again. He would never soft pedal until he gets to his destination.

So beloved, without further narratives, this is who you want, he is the giant you must stand on his shoulders. Standing on his shoulders means engaging his proficiency and expertise, co-opting his strategies that work for him. And when you do, you run faster, cover much ground and make a greater impact in life. Stay Refreshed!
