Devotional
Afterwards, beloved, another fundamental insight you should note as you journey towards your goals is to adopt an eternal perspective. Adopting an eternal perspective is a transformative mindset that shapes the way we approach and set Christ-centered goals. Consider how your goals would contribute to the advancement of God’s kingdom on earth, focusing on lasting impact rather than temporary success (see Matthew 6:20).
Key Scripture
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.Matthew 6:20 (NIV)
Refreshing for the Day
When setting Christ-centered goals with an eternal perspective, the focus shifts from temporary achievements to lasting impact, and from self to others. Consider the enduring consequences of your actions and aspirations, seeking to make a positive and eternal difference in the lives of others. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
Goals that align with an eternal perspective prioritize investments in kingdom values.
Responsibility
So, reflect on how your pursuits contribute to the growth of faith, love, and righteousness. Aim to leave a legacy that echoes the principles of God’s kingdom.
