Devotional
Beloved, it is wisdom to recognize that when we are straying away to stop and realign our paths. The very last prayer of Jesus for His disciples in John 17:16 had it that “they are not of the world…”; so, it’s not out of the place for us to drift away, for where a person doesn’t belong, he wouldn’t know well. But it’s necessary from time to time when found we are drifting away to stop and reset our compass.
Key Scripture
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.Psalms 119:105 NLT
Refreshing for the Day
Indeed, we do not belong to the world, but we know a God who owns the world and everything in it (Ps 24:1). He created the world and has it in His palms (Eccl 18:3). And He preserved the secrets of the world in His Word. Hence, great mysteries and the unlimited insights to navigate successfully through the world is contained in the Word of God. This is to say that the compass that regulates and instructs our paths is found in the Word. So, whenever we learned we’re going astray, all we have to do is to stop and reset our compass through the Word and continue again. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
When you’re confused and don’t know what to do or where to go in life, just stop and reset your compass through the Word of God.
