The first step to having a purified thought life is surrendering our minds to God. This means giving Him access to every part of our thinking—our worries, plans, desires, and even our struggles. When we surrender, we invite God to take control and align our thoughts with His truth. A surrendered mind is a gateway to transformation, where God replaces worldly thinking with His divine perspective.
