Devotional
So, let us look at few intentional actions that will provide us space to write on the pages of the new chapter of our life. We need to first reflect on ourselves. Spend time with just ourselves, clean out unwanted debris that’s blocking our space (Prov. 24:27). Draw a sync line between what we want, our thoughts, goals, and actions (Lk 14:28-30). This simple practice allows our priority to find expression. Often times what occupies so much space in our lives are the things we don’t need. Most of them are irrelevant and counterproductive. So, we must learn to do away with them and focus more on the things that do matter.
Key Scripture
Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?Luke 14:28 NIV
Refreshing for the Day
Again, we must learn to make peace with reality and work with it. You don’t open a new chapter of your life filled with unrealistic goals and ambitions. We often get stuck in life because we’re unable to match fact with reality. We relentlessly continue to indulge in fantasy and wishes, living in limbo where we create things that does not exist. But, beloved, the truth is, that kind of life doesn’t pay. You must learn to get real with yourself no matter how distasteful it is. Understand the situation you’re in now, and fashion out how you can work with what you have, and not what you wish you had. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
It’s never too late to build the life you want, but first you need to reflect on yourself, discover what you want in life and realistically set to make it happen.
Responsibility
Be truthful to yourself as you sincerely pursue our goals in life.
