Therefore, beloved, as we continue to meditate on the matter- “living with purpose and intentionality”, it’s essential we pause and reflect on this all-important question, “What legacy am I leaving for future generations?” This introspective question prompts us to consider the impact of our actions, choices, and values on the world around us and the lives of those who will come after us.

So the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.Psalm 78:6-7 (NIV)

At this point, we consider our values and principles, relationships and connections, character and influence, impact and contributions, and many others. Our values shape the way we interact with others and contribute to the kind of world we leave behind for future generations to inherit. Our character and influence shape the way others perceive us and the example we set for those who look up to us as role models. Stay Refreshed!
