Devotional
There should be something we are living for. Something that is way too bigger than us. Though, it is good to have personal goals and dreams we want to accomplish, but if we only focused ourselves, we won’t reach our highest potentials. There are many unique reasons we could live for– we were created to be a blessing to the people, to help someone else, to lift the fallen, to encourage those that are down, to fight for those that can’t fight for themselves and too many others. However, we need to discover the one we could live for and actively engage in it.
Key Scripture
The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.Proverbs 16:4 ESV
Refreshing for the Day
The reason many people are not happy is they’re ingrown. And as long as they are only focused on themselves, they’re not going to be fulfilled. So, beloved, your reason may be to break an addiction, making determined efforts to make the world a better place. It could be to fund a ministry, to support the spread of the gospel to all the world, or to take the poor out of the street. But whichever it may be, the gain is doing it with all your heart, and be passionate about it. When you live for a reason, you’ll do things you wouldn’t normally do. You can go a long way to sacrificing all you have to get it done. You’ll get up early daily with the thought of the reason in your mind, you’ll never rest until it’s accomplished. You’re totally committed to the reason. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
When you live for a reason, give your time, energy and resources to care for the hurting, to lift those that are disadvantaged, to bring their dreams to pass, you will see favor in new ways.
Responsibility
Look around at how you can be a blessing in your neighborhood, in your local church and community. And actively engage in them.
Pause in His presence

O LORD, make me a positive force in my generation, and cause me to live for a reason, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

Prophetic Word
