Devotional
Many people are living with regrets, thinking about what they should’ve done or what they shouldn’t have done. They beat themselves so hard that it begins to hurt and affect their progress and development in life. But the truth of the matter is that regrets doesn’t solve problems. It boomerangs it and makes it worst. Regrets puts one in a deplorable state and makes him feel unfortunate. Yes, beloved, you may have made mistakes, but God’s mercy is bigger than any mistake you’ve made. So, learn to forgive yourself.
Key Scripture
Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.Isaiah 61:7 NIV
Refreshing for the Day
Our God is so merciful, and His mercy shall find you. He never said we wouldn’t have unfair situations. He never promised we wouldn’t make mistakes in life. But He did promise if we would forgive ourselves and stay in faith, He would restore our joy in full, and give us a double portion for our shame. And instead of disgrace, we shall rejoice in our inheritance. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
God’s mercy does not count any wrong. It’s healing and unconditional.
