Devotional
In life, anything that would be possible, make demands for two things—the man-factor and the God-factor. For no matter how skillful and proficient we could be, we can only do our bit. When we have done everything, we needed to do, we’d definitely need the intervention of God to make the difference. So, Jesus is the difference maker.
Key Scripture
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.Psalm 50:15 BSB
Refreshing for the Day
The reason why too many people are confused and frustrated is because they’ve neglected the place of God-factor in their life. But the fact remains that, there’s a level we can go, and we leave the rest to God. Trying to muscle everything on our own, is calamitous. In Mark 9:14-29, the disciples encountered a scene; when the people brought a boy with an evil spirit to them, they did all they could do, but they couldn’t heal the boy.
But when Jesus came around, He rebuked the evil spirit and it left the boy. So, Jesus taught His disciples this principle, “this kind cannot come out except by prayer.” Beloved, you might have toiled, hustled and tried to achieve a certain feat on your own, all to no avail. But today I challenge you to introduce the God-factor, invite Jesus into your pursuit and He will make the difference for you. Stay Lifted!
