Devotional
Holding on to the past keeps us from moving on to what lies ahead. It holds us back from seeing what the future holds for us. But in this new month, if we must lay hold of what God has in store for us, we must let go of what has happened. We must let go of old pain, hurt, disappointment, and with open hearts accept the promises of God’s word found in our anchor scripture below.
Key Scripture
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desertIsaiah 43:19 KJV
Refreshing for the Day
The past can be the greatest enemy of the future if we let it. The devil loves to capitalize on this to hold believers hostage in the prison of unforgiveness, bitterness and rage. This is why we must resist the urge to dwell in the past and continue to press forward. Beloved, decide to let go of the past today and release your faith to enter into your realm of abundance. Forget the times you failed, try again. Stop dwelling on the mistakes of yesterday, rather learn from it and try again. Believe God to make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert for you. Stay Refreshed!
