Yesterday, we learnt that embracing God’s plan in a person’s life is a tonic in times of adversity. Looking at the account of Joseph in Genesis 37, we could decipher that sometimes disappointments and betrayals one may be facing in life, could be a stepping stone to his destiny fulfilment. Now let us x-ray how can a person embrace God’s plan for his life.

Refreshing for the Day
No matter how great and captivating a person’s plans for his life may be, only God’s plan must stand.
One of the approaches a person can implement in his daily life to become more effective Christian is to embrace God’s plan for his life. Having said that, so then, how can one embrace God’s plan for his life?
1. Continuous walk with God: While trusting in God to lead us, it is important that we stay in contact with Him. God yearns for a relationship with us. When we unceasingly walk with Him, He will always show us our next step in His plan, (Proverbs 3:5-6).
2. Tarry at the place of prayer:In prayer, we stay connected to God through open communication. As we spend time with Him in prayer, He will reveal to us His plans for our lives and guide us accordingly, (Jeremiah 33:3, 1 John 5:14-15).
3. Surrender your plan to God’s plan: Surrendering our plans to Gods plan demonstrates humility and total submission to Him. When we surrender our plans to God’s, He will begin to direct our steps.
4. Trust in God’s judgement: We cannot claim to embrace the plans of whom we don’t believe in. Our trust and unwavering dependent on God and His word, establishes the fact that we believe in Him and His plans for our lives, (Jeremiah 29:11).
Beloved, ultimately embracing God’s plan for your life requires understanding God, trusting His precepts, commit to developing a relationship with Him and collapsing your plans to His. And as you do so, it shall be well with you. Stay Lifted!

O LORD, thank you for your great plans for my life. Help me to embrace and fulfil them in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
