Devotional

Have you written yourself off because of one mistake you made in the past? Do you go about hiding your face in shame, thinking you’re the worst person? Don’t worry, the mercy of God has got you. You don’t have to feel disqualified nor condemn yourself, for God’s mercy is bigger than your mistakes. If God has not condemned you, you don’t have to condemn yourself.

Key Scripture

…and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
Colossians 1:22 NLT

Refreshing for the Day

Don’t let failures and times you gave into temptation cause you to be against yourself.

Beloved, when you fall to sin, run to God and ask Him for mercy; God will forgive you and give you His mercy. When God forgives you, you have to also learn to forgive yourself. You don’t judge your life based on that one mistake; it didn’t stop your destiny.

All through the scripture God used people that made mistakes: Abraham had a baby out of wedlock, David took a man’s wife and had the man killed, and many others. So, your mistakes will not stop your destiny. Since you have confessed it to God and repented of them, learn to forgive yourself and move on. Stay Lifted!

Don’t let failures and times you gave into temptation cause you to be against yourself.
