Devotional
Consequently, beloved, when we say that God’s promises are sure and eternal, it’s so true (Isaiah 55:11). God is not obligated or constrained to honor or answer what we say, feel or think; but He’s assured and promised to bring to pass what He says. Any wonder the Psalmist declared in chapter 138:2; it says,
Key Scripture
I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name. For Your lovingkindness and Your truth, for You have magnified Your word above all Your namePsalm 138:2 NKJV
Refreshing for the Day
God loves it when we mount and boldly stand upon His promises. When things are going wrong in your life, don’t just panic, don’t be afraid. Take it to God in prayers and remind Him of His promises (Isaiah 41:21). When God hears His promises coming out of your mouth, He swiftly gets busy, and He goes to work on your behalf. And your story will change for good. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
A mere cry and tears at the place of prayer don’t move God, it can only give one a psychological consolation. But when we pray and stand on the nuts and bolts of God’s infallible promises and His Word, God swings into action.
Responsibility
So, dearly beloved, quit focusing on your problems, turn to God’s promises and possibilities according to His Word in your life.
Pause in His presence
Prayer
O LORD, help my life. In my troubles, cause me to focus on your promises and possibilities and never to lose faith, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
Carry this with you
Prophetic Word
As you focus on God’s promises and possibilities in your life, may the Lord care for you and answer you speedily, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
