Devotional
So, beloved, it’s one thing to have a dream and purpose, but it’s another to stay focused and committed to see them established and manifested. I tell you a story; In 1960, a young man borrowed some money from the bank and opened a small pizza place in the United States. At the start, he experienced a hard turn. A friend and a business partner betrayed and swindled him a huge amount of his capital, and his business hit the rock. To worsen the scenario, a few years later, a fire burned down his building and gulped his store. He was so troubled, but he didn’t give up on his dreams. Just like the Psalmist declared in Psalms 37:24 about a man whose steps are ordered by the Lord, he said,
Key Scripture
When he falls, he will not be hurled down, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him.Psalms 37:24 AMP
Refreshing for the Day
When a man is committed to the dreams God placed in his heart, nothing will ever stop him. His strongholds are found in the Lord. He would collapse and fall, but he will rise up and stand firm (Psalm 20:8). He may be persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed (2 Cor 4:9). So, this young man stayed committed to the dream God placed in his heart. He started his business again, but this time changed his business strategy. Instead of people having to come get their pizza, he decided to take the pizza to the people. He came up with the first delivery service, he called it Domino’s. Today, there are over 5,000 Domino’s. The man is Tom Monaghan.
So, beloved, what am I saying? When you stay committed and don’t give up on your dreams, God will open doors that you could never open. He will bring you into your season of abundance, and your life will never remain the same again. Stay Refreshed!
