Devotional

We can all look back and see times where we gave into temptation and all manner of ill-desire, we let our guard down and compromised. We were careless and didn’t handle a situation the way we should. Yes, but those times were just a moment in our lives. We realised our flaws and sincerely made amendments. Now, we have grown past it and moved on. So, beloved, you don’t let it define who you are. Even though, sometimes, the Satan and the accuser of the brethren would constantly keep reminding you of them to condemn you (Rev 12:10). But anytime, never you give in to his useless old-fashioned tricks. But then, always remember the Bible says in Isaiah 43:18,

Key Scripture

Do not call to mind the former things; pay no attention to the things of old.
Isaiah 43:18 BSB

Refreshing for the Day

And also, beware the enemy and the circumstances may try to put the past label on you, but you don’t have to let that bother you. The truth is that you can’t stop them from putting the label on you, but you can take it off and never let it define you. Hear me, you’re not defined by your past, you’re defined by what God says about you. You may have made mistakes, but you’re forgiven, you’re redeemed. Your failures are over, your mistakes are behind you, they are in your yesterday. So, don’t bring them into your today. God’s mercy is new every morning, receive that mercy and move forward in life. Stay Refreshed!
