However, it’s also important for us to note that no amount of effort a person would put in doing the wrong thing that will ever make it to be right. And no matter what we desire and how strongly we feel about it, it will never become the will of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ understood this reality when He was praying at the Gethsemane in Matt 26:39; He said,

Key Scripture

…“My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.
Matthew 26:39 NIV

Refreshing for the Day

Jesus wished that the way of the cross be taken away from Him. He cried heavily to the Father. But then, inasmuch as He wanted the pain and suffering out of the way, He eventually accepted the will of God for His life. So, sometimes, the will of God is not so sweet. It could be so tough and challenging, but however tough it may be, we must never be afraid or shy away from it. We must learn to accept it in good faith and ask God for the grace to get through it. Stay Refreshed!
