Devotional
The one reason we continually go to church and engaged in as many spiritual activities as possible, yet our character and attitude remains defiant and still impenitent, without giving it any soft landing, is because we are yet to develop a mind that agrees with God. No wonder, we struggle in keeping it right with God, rising today, backslidden tomorrow. But another thing we must do to develop a mind that agrees with God is by continually transforming and renewing our mind (Rom 12:2).
Key Scripture
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…Romans 12:2 NIV
Refreshing for the Day
Continually transforming and renewing our mind is the key to resisting temptation. It equips and gets us prepared ahead of time, so when temptation comes, we have the foundation to make the right choices and more likely to overcome it. And one practical way we can accomplish it is by being intentional about it. Every day we need to take time to study the Word and purposely think according to what it says. However beloved, know it’s not automatic, it’s an ongoing process. It may not be so easy, but we need to make progress each day so we can keep our mind renewed and grow in our relationship with God. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
Our mind is a mirror image of what we feed it, and whatever it is fed, that’s what it will produce.

So, be careful what you feed your mind. Strictly keep transforming and renewing it by the Word of God.
