Devotional

It has been established that life in Christ Jesus should not just take the first place in our life, but also should be the top most priority in our life and destiny. We also saw that until we place life in Christ our top most priority, we may do everything but will not achieve anything. Now, we shall be looking at the dangers of misplaced priorities.

Key Scripture

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
John 15:5 NKJV

Refreshing for the Day

Beloved, the most dangerous thing about misplaced priority is that a person may engage in it without knowing it. He may be a very focused person, but he is focused on the wrong thing. He will employ all kinds of strategy, exert all his energy on what he does, but he may never get the desired result.

It’s not that he doesn’t want to achieve results, it’s just that he did not place Christ the basis and source of all results first in his life. When a person places other things first and prioritize them over the life in Christ, no matter what he does, and how perfect he thinks he could do it, failure is unavoidable. For no matter how fast, we travel on a wrong road, we will never get to our desired destination. Stay Lifted!

Note This

A Life absent of life in Christ as the first and real priority is void and accomplishes nothing at the end.

Responsibility

Make Jesus Christ your topmost priority in life, and everything will fall in pleasant places for you.

Pause in His presence

Prayer

O LORD, I make you the topmost priority in my life. Please cause me not to swerve from this decision, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

Carry this with you

Prophetic Word

As you prioritize life in Christ top in your life; may God’s undiluted favor locates you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
