Devotional
Again, beloved, another Biblical proven step to help us navigate fears and ultimately overcome them is to identify the source of the fear and find refuge in God. Try to pinpoint what is causing your fear. Is it a specific situation, a future event, or something more generalized? Understanding the source of your fear can help you address it more effectively. When it’s identified, then take it to God in prayer, and find refuge in Him. For the Bible says in Psalm 9:9,
Key Scripture
The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.Psalm 9:9 (ESV)
Refreshing for the Day
In God, we can find refuge and strength. So, beloved, seek solace in God’s presence and protection when you are afraid. Release your fears and burdens to Him. He will sustain and strengthen you through them, (Psalm 55:22). Seek and trust in God’s peace, which goes beyond human comprehension. Allow His peace to guard your heart and mind from fear. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 4:7). Stay Refreshed!
Note This
In times of fear, remember that as a Christian, you are not alone. God’s presence, promises, and love are your constant companions, guiding you through the darkest moments.
