Today's Theme
As the year comes to an end, God invites us to pause—not to rush ahead, but to reflect. This series is a sacred moment to look back with honesty, gratitude, and humility, and to release what this year carried into God’s hands. Through reflection and surrender, we learn how to close one chapter with peace so we can enter the next without burden. These devotionals will help you finish the year gently, faithfully, and anchored in God.
Focus
Letting Go and Closing the Year With God
Devotional
As this year comes to an end, God invites you to release it fully into His hands. Not just the good moments, but also the unfinished prayers, the unanswered questions, the disappointments, and the things that did not turn out as expected. Some things cannot go with you into the new year. Not because they were meaningless, but because their season has ended. Ecclesiastes reminds us that every season has a time. Closing the year well means trusting God enough to let go—without bitterness, without fear, and without holding back.
Scripture Reading
Ecclesiastes 3:1 — A season for everything Psalm 37:5 — Commit your way to the Lord Isaiah 43:18–19 — God is doing a new thing
Refreshing for the Day
Letting go is not giving up. It is saying, “God, I trust You with what was and with what will be.” You do not have to carry 2025 into 2026. Peace comes when you place the year you’re leaving into God’s hands. God has already gone ahead of you. Close this chapter gently. God is not finished with your story. Stay Refreshed!
Note This
📘 You don’t close the year by forgetting it, but by surrendering it.
