Devotional
So, again, beloved, we’re not only called to wake up but also to “arise from the dead.” It’s a profound call to leave behind the ways of our old selves, the habits and attitudes that hinder our growth in Christ. For in Christ, we find the power to overcome the grip of sin and death, to shed the weight of spiritual tiredness and walk in the light of His truth. Hence, just as Christ conquered death, we too are called to rise above the spiritual deadness that can hold us captive.
Key Scripture
Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again.Isaiah 52:1 NIV
