Devotional
Successively, beloved, as we journey through the beautiful season of advent, let us reflect on “the mystery of incarnation.” The incarnation stands as one of the most profound mysteries of the Christian faith, encapsulating the moment when the divine took on human flesh. It is an unparalleled act of divine condescension, where the creator entered His creation, experiencing life in the human form, sharing in our joys, sorrows, and struggles. And the Bible beautifully captures this very act in Philippians 2:6-7, it says,
Key Scripture
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.Philippians 2:6-7 (NIV)
